The design approach is based on simple but effective elements, aimed at integrating the urban space with the natural system, articulating the area through two main components: the horizontal arrangement, characterized by the new paving, and the vertical system of trees and green management.
The new paving, through a gradient of mineral and grassy surfaces, organizes the pedestrian spaces and creates a system of green areas that accompanies the visitor from the more structured urban surfaces to the green paths towards the heart of the area.
The design strategy, therefore, was directed towards the creation of a neighborhood urban park and a garden square that includes recreational functions: a large, permeable and multifunctional green space, in which the city can host various activities.
