The Landscape project completes and enriches the intervention of the building of the Ministry of Ecology of Rome thanks to the continuity of the design in which it is inserted, establishing a strong relationship with the architectural character of the building both in aesthetic and functional terms.

The main types in which the green project is divided are the vertical green walls along the facade of Via Colombo and on the front of Via Bavastro, the perimeter green at the street level and the terrace and loggias on the top floors of the building.

The green design strategy that involves both horizontal and vertical green was to generate a gradient that fades from the lower part, in which the plant essences have a shielding function and for this are evergreen, to the upper part of the building characterized by species mainly deciduous that offer a change of seasonality and whose transparency emphasizes the theme of the view on the panorama of Rome. The vegetation gradually becomes more and more variegated and flowery acquiring an increasingly Mediterranean character typical of the Roman territory.
