In Piazza Armandi, Fusignano, the intervention softens a rigid urban grid with a more fluid, landscape-driven approach. Currently fragmented by vehicular traffic, the space is reimagined as a pedestrian-friendly environment where trees, gardens, and high-quality materials shape a renewed public identity. The project enhances thermal comfort and biodiversity while fostering an inviting setting for social interaction.
Piazza Tiziano follows a similar philosophy, introducing organic forms and landscape elements that enrich its urban presence. Balancing functional requirements with ecological sensitivity, the design integrates native plantings, permeable paving, and shaded gathering spaces, creating a more inclusive and comfortable experience for residents.
